Dame Diana Rigg, who played the famous Emma Peel on The Avengers (that’s the other Avengers) and also got famously hitched to James Bond in 1969′s On Her Majesty’s Secret Service, will appear on Who alongside her daughter, actress Rachael Stirling (Centurion, Snow White and the Huntsman).

Right now the BBC is keeping mum on the details, but Rigg and Stirling will play a mother-daughter duo, and their characters are said to be sharing a dark secret. Rachael Stirling called the episode ”funny and original.”
