I don’t believe this is confirmed at all, but there are rumors of a couple of past beloved favorites returning for the Doctor Who 50th Anniversary Special in 2013. Until it is confirmed, we can only hope, right? Oh, and make fan posters like these in anticipation:

I wish but it seem unlikely. By all accounts Eccleston is embarrassed to even be associated with it now. Any rumors about Tom Baker?
WOW, this is exciting! I do hope David Tennant comes back, I liked him the most and I’m going to miss Amy in the next season.
